Bravely Rooted Therapy provides trauma-informed, somatic therapy for adults, couples, Filipino and AAPI clients, first responders, and justice-involved individuals and their families. Built on real experience inside the systems many people are still trying to survive — and grounded in cultural fluency — this is care for people who've had to be strong for a long time and are ready to feel steady instead.

Filipinx, AAPI & BIPOC–Affirming | Tagalog & English | Adults, Couples, Immigrants, First Responders, & Justice-Involved

Most therapy training happens in a classroom. Mine also happened inside county jails, juvenile halls, and California's correctional system — working alongside sheriffs, probation, parole, and the courts for over a decade. That's not a talking point; it's where I learned what steadiness actually looks like under real pressure. Whether you're a first responder carrying what the job doesn't let you put down, a family navigating a loved one's incarceration, an individual challenged with a life-altering change, or a couple trying to rebuild trust, the work starts in the body — because that's usually where the weight of your experience has been living the whole time.

You probably already understand why you react the way you do. The issue is your body hasn't yet synced with what you know.

Somatic work are experiential, going beyond conversational. We work directly with what's happening in your nervous system in real time.

You'll learn to recognize when your body is going into fight, flight, or freeze before it completely takes over. You'll practice staying present with uncomfortable sensations instead of shutting down or exploding. And over time, your body will actually learn that safety is safe.

I help adults from any background move through anxiety, relationship stress, loneliness, life transitions, and trauma—so you can quiet overwhelming thought patterns, feel more grounded in your body, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections.

I am deeply committed to also serving Filipinx, AAPI, and BIPOC communities, providing identity-affirming care in a warm, supportive space where your lived experience is understood, honored and respected.
